Nowadays, families come in many variations. Whether blood related or soul connected, family are the people in your life that you share a special and loving bond with. In today’s busy world, it is easy to become disconnected; with yourself and each other. It is important that we make the time to prioritize our self-care in mind, body, and spirit. My latest book - Project Shine invites everyone, no matter what their relationship, to join forces and invest in some serious self-esteem building and self–love activities, TOGETHER.

Project Shine the book includes eight chapters of tasks, activities, and information encouraging- Self-esteem building, Self-care, Self-love, Connection, Journaling and so much more. Project Shine is designed for adults, older children, and teenagers to complete together. Project Shine is best suited to children twelve years and above, but it depends on your child/teens individual level of maturity.Any number or combination of family members or friends can participate. You don’t have to be related, just connected. There are no restrictions on who can SHINE.

Family connections sometimes get strained due to life’s crazy pace so the aim of Project Shine is to encourage positive changes in mind, body, and spirit and to increase good energy in your sacred space – your home.

Project Shine consists of 128 pages. There are eight chapters of personal development with supporting tasks and journaling activities that help strengthen connections, increase self-esteem and support self-care and self-love. At the end of the book , there is a beautiful chapter called Love notes - Little gifts of inspiration.  Whenever you need a daily dose of inspiration, randomly pick a page from this section and you will find a special message to motivate you for the day ahead.When you set goals with clear intentions and then break them down into manageable tasks and action them with your loved ones, magic happens.

During a continuous run of bad luck, I was given some really strange warnings randomly about cleaning up my husband’s extremely messy shed! The warnings indicated that a good clean up of this area, could possibly change our lives for the better. After some profound moments, we soon realised that the warnings about cleaning up our shed were far deeper than just the need for a tidy space.

The complex and emotional journey that eventually led my husband to cleaning up our shed, taught us the importance of acknowledging and releasing past mistakes, clearing out space for more positive experiences and trusting ones own self when it comes to walking down life’s sometimes challenging path. It was definitely no ordinary clean up!

The Shed  is a book about how the chaos in our external environment effects the positive energy flow in all areas of our lives. This book is for everyone who wants to make positive practical and real changes in their life through an easy ten step clean up program for the body mind and soul.

 Your home is your safe haven, your body is what carries you through this life and your thoughts determine how you feel and respond to the world. Clearing each one of these areas out and filling them with love, laughter and beauty will bring your life immense joy. The Shed is a light hearted look at how simply cleaning up and clearing out aspects of our lives, can literally open up endless opportunities for a more joyous, peaceful existence. The Shed is a humorous, light, easy to read reminder that we can all live a meaningful, happy life!

This book is made up of 32 short chapters. Each chapter includes simple tips and strategies that will hopefully help you to find peace and clarity around some of life’s more common challenges.

It’s often the simplest of acts that can create the most impact and assist you to lead a more meaningful life.

You may like to read the whole book from the first chapter through to the last or you might be drawn to a single chapter on a certain day. Start at the beginning, the middle or the end. Like everything in your future, it’s always your choice.

Before you turn each page, make a commitment to yourself.
