Every December, I usually write an article on how to navigate your way through the silly season and the pre-Christmas period, when we are usually under the pump to meet end of year deadlines and shop till we drop for family gifts. It’s the time of the year when Christmas parties, Christmas get togethers as well as the lead up to Christmas day create an opportunity to drink, eat, be merry, fight with the family, overspend on the credit card and basically stretch ones tolerance levels to breaking point.
In my end of year article for 2016, I am not going to focus on how to cope with the silly season. I am not going to tell you how to eat right, slow down or manage your stress levels leading up to Christmas.
Instead, I hope to inspire you to – “Remember this day.”
